Picked this guy up the other day. He was in a tank of "assorted cichlids" and was extremely cheap. Just wondering on what he is...

Probably a hybrid, yellow lab and red zebra, but really who knows?

+1 for hybrid. Most tanks that are labeled "assorted africans" or "mixed africans" are not pure bred fish, they are either hybrids or rejects with poor coloring or genetic defects
