I just got a pike yesturday. not really sure what kind. it didnt say at the store. but anyway i was just wondering what is the best thing to feed him to make him big and to bring out some color in him.

i just pulled my solo sveni out of my pond, got him a month ago, and he got huge in a month eating vegetation, rosy reds, and goldfish fry. generally you dont want to go for many feeder fish cause they dont have much nutritional value and can introduce disease easily. get it onto a good pellet/ prepared food diet silversides, krill, market shrimp. should do pretty well, but if you feed it live food it will be hard to break it of it.
my big boy loved everything from feeders to crickets to beef heart pellets. just an all around monster... trying to get my marms to eat like him
