New pickup, need ID.

I picked this guy up yesterday out of a tank of saxatilis and belly crawlers. I'm very curious to find out what he is. I'm hoping it will turn out to be a female alta, because I currently have an adult male just waiting for a new girl. If not, oh well, I still love new pikes . The little guy is right about 3" long.

I also picked up what I hope will be a male bellycrawler, to go with my adult female bellycrawler. He's a little guy, only about 2.25-2.5" long.

So what do you guys think he is? Sorry for the crappy pics, he's in a 10g quarantine tank that I don't bother to clean very well...

Nice! Not thinking alta though. Definitely grow it out more and maybe a better picture?

I've never seen one that looked like this as a baby before, so I'm clueless as to what it might be. It has spangles, so I bought it .

I'll definitely be growing him/her up nice and fat to show off its colors. Hopefully it turns into something interesting...
