Picked up something a little different for all the psuedohemiodon fans out there. Uncle Ned's fish factory had some really awesome planiloricaria cryptodon in, and I snagged one. I'll try to get a pic a little later, between him hiding and my water being brown from some new driftwood I can't get a good shot right now. I was wondering if anyone who's dealt with the psuedohemiodons, because apparently they're very closely related, or the cryptodons themselves had any advice. I'm keeping my water clean and slightly acidic(ammonia:0, nitrite:0, nitrates are around 10, and PH is 6.6) I don't have a hardness test, although i might pick one up just to be sure. So far he's nibbled on crushed up flakes, and some mysis shrimp. I hear they like bloodworms, so I'm gonna snag some today. planetcatfish doesn't have a whole lot on him, but there are a few sites with little articles sprinkled around. Here's what planetcatfish has on them: http://www.planetcatfish.com/catelog/species.php?species_id=627. He seems to be adjusting well, and amazingly enough getting along fine with my gang of poly's. I was worried I'd have to throw him in a tank by himself, but I don't think he's gonna be a hassle to keep up, still any advice is appreciated.
