They all looked black until my lfs owner saw me lookin at him and he got all excited and was like look then the light hits them well!
He took the glass top and egg crate off and they were like blue gold!

I've never been much of a Pleco person myself but I think if I was in the same position as you, I would have done the same exact thing lol. Beautiful.
