so a new LFS just opened up two blocks away from my apartment. so i go in and chat with the guy. anyway i get talking and ask if i can trade in my 4" piranha. not really looking to get much just looking to help out an up and comming business. so any way i ended up getting a nice Flowerhorn for him. i will get pics possibly tonight if not tomorrow. but i have heard so much about these fish so i wanted to try my hand at it. btw they are only charging 8 bucks for them. about 1/2" long. is that a good deal? any way had to share

so any ideas on the price of the FH? i was wondering if they are competively pricing thier fish. and any info on FH's would be great. i have tried searching on here comming up empty. any info would be great thanks in advance
flowerhorns are aggressive and are hybrids, so you might get a better responce in the hybrid section, if you like it,its a good price

I'd say it depends on the quality of the FH. The LFS next to me sells FH "rejects" (few pearls/flowers or not the best looking) for $5.99 which are around 2-4".
they do get very well priced some of the nice ones, we can tell you more about the price if you post us some pics..
