I just got back from the Tampa Bay Aquarium Society fish auction. The auction ran for about 4 hours straight, with a silent auction and raffle going on as well. There were a lot of angelfish (which sold very well) and victorian cichlids in particular. There were also donations from local fish farms, like Don Conkel, 5D, and Segrest. I bought:
2 Black belt cichlids (4") = $5
5 German blue rams (1") = $11
1 Cuban cichlid (2") = $2
1 pair Fundulopanchax oeseri (2") = $5
1 pair Aphyosemion mamfense (2") = $9
= $32
Which I think is a good deal. I don't really want the black belts though, so I'm going to try to sell them or give them away. Anyone interested?
Also, I can't find any information on the Aphyosemion mamfense. Has their name been changed? Does anyone know about them?!
Pics to come...
