today i picked up a 10 inch ornate and a 12 inch royal clown knife... its the first ive ever seen in this country :>

Nice ornate. How much did you pay for it? My 11 inch one does nothing but hide except at feeding time. Would be nice to see him swim around like yours.

i picked him up from a newly wed couple who had decided to get a bunch of more colorfull fish so they got tangajika cichlids... which the ornate obviously found quite tasty... so they put him in a small little bucket that he was living in for 2 weeks before i picked him up. If had known that i wud have gone sooner. but hes happy with his new space... got for just 30 bucks... hes swimming now but that cud just be him checkin out his new home... he might go into hiding soon...
Nice price on him. Mine swam until he picked out a hiding spot after determining there were not any escape routes. Make sure top and filter openings are sealed.
