I picked up some cichlids I have not heard of before today for my 145 gallon I am stocking. Info on any of these would be great as the net has not helped much.

Chuco Godmani
Chuco Intermedius
Fennestratus "Bluehead"

Any info on them including aggression levels etc.. would be great. Thanks.

Haven't heard of them either, lol. But, I did a little searching and it appears that the chuco godmani aren't very aggressive fish, similar to nics in aggression. Nothing much was found on the intermedius and fen. But you should be safe feeding them a good staple pellet such as Hikari bio gold. But it appears that you scored some very rare cichlids. I think a 145 should suffice for those fish. But if I were you, I would just try to keep the water parameters and stuff like that around the same as for any other New World cichlid. Just keep up on water changes and such and you should be safe. Don't feed feeders obviously as none of those fish look predatory in the very least. Plants would be good I guess since they look like they eat lots of vegetation in the wilds. Good luck and post pictures and keep us updated.

There pretty much Vieja sp (fenestratus is one) For NW cichlids there not overly aggressive but they do get pretty big +/- 12"

fenestratus not agressive? tell that to my rt,2jds and tiger shovelnose. My paratheraps fenestratus killed all these fish with ease and was smaller than all.Agression can only be determined on a fish by fish basis as many will tell you,one day a pussycat the next a psycho killer. how about a pic of that fen pleez.

Thanks for the info. I will post some pics later today.

Viejas are typically very aggressive. Be careful with what you mix them with. And yes, they get BIG.

Went to A Place for Pets eh? :P What did you think?

I almost picked up a couple of the godmani when I was there last, very nice looking fish. I have one of the P. fenestratus "blueface" and it's not looking like a fene at all. More along the lines of zonatus. Mine is solo in a 60 gallon cause she killed all her tankmates.

Treat all of them like any general CA and you'll be fine. Watch the "fene" for aggression. Very mean fish.

Here's my P. fenestratus "blueface" from A Place for Pets.

Yes I went there and the place is awesome. That Kevin really knew his fish. Best place for cichlids that I have seen in Washington. Thanks for the tip, it was worth the trip. Beautiful fish, it looks alot like the one I picked up. So far my only worry is my RD/FH cross picking on everyone.

My camera sucks at taking fish pictures, but here they are...

Intermedius
Godmani
Fenestratus
