here are 2 shots of the amphilophus altifrons I picked up yesterday.
can anybody properly I.D. these? I can't find a lot of good shots of these guys. This was the last of the pet stores stock thats been hanging around forever. I got 3/$25 @ 2-3". The workers told me they ordered them as cichlasoma altifrons thinking they'd be the common geophagus altifron lol.
here is one of my current favorites my male f1 amphilophus saggitae
he's about a year old and about 8-9". I finally got my first batch of fry out of him last week if anybody wants some fry send me a PM.
my "giant" gourami @ 4"
this fish is one mean sob.
1 of my 6 f1 barred midas @ 1.5"
so exciting right? Give them 2 more months or so..
