My son loves to go with me on fish hunts. We went to 4 different hot spots this weekend and got the following. GATF, 5 P. corruscans( spotted tigershovelnose cats that we rescued) and some dithers for my 3 dorado- 2 tinfoil barbs and 3 barbs that I have never seen before. Here are some pics.
These are the 5 P. Corruscans that were in a tank full of convicts and other cichlids that I could flush. All of there eyes were picked off, most of there fins and whiskers. I rescued them all. These catfish are very rare and the owner had no idea what kind he had.
These are the barbs that I got to calm my 3 dorado down with. Can anyone Id them? They are acutally very pretty. They have red eyes, yellow tails and a black tip on the dorsal fins.
that sucks that the cats had to go threw that but they are gona have it good now.... i dont know wat the barbs are i had like 5 a while ago my cichlids killed them kinda quick tho.
those barbs are from Burma, imported by AQA-uncle Harold, distributed to local stores, very rare in the hobby, first time imported to my knowledge. they're called Mystacoleucus argenteus
