Picked up some small guys today. Will post pictures later.

2" JD
2" RD
2" GT
3" pbass.

all are in my q tank right now.

the tank is only a 30 gallon. how long should i q them before throwing them into my 125?

Pbass will likely get killed by the other fish at that size . . . I never had trouble with putting fish directly into the main tank fresh out of the bag . . .

But to answer your question, IMO, 2-3 days at the most unless they really are sick.

i love the combo. the RD is already displaying some type of aggression.

The quarantine period depends if you have stock already in the 125g and how much you value it.

If its an empty tank I wouldn't even quarantine them, just throw them in. If you do have fish in the tank already try to quarantine for a week. That way you'll have a chance to make sure they don't have anything before they go in with your expensive fish.

Trust me, I as well as a lot of other people have learned the hard way and had to deal with a whole sick tank.
