I haven't posted in a while. We're busy planning a wedding in June and selling our house now (we'll close in 4 weeks :nilly:). Plus its been torrential rain, thunderstorms, and tornado's for the last month or two, which has been fun :irked:.

Anyways, I had Ash out today in the bathroom for some exercise, since he hasn't gotten much lately, and decided to give him a bath. Last time he got a bath he really didn't seem to enjoy it and freaked out. This time he seemed to really enjoy the warm water and just kind of chilled for about 15 minutes before deciding he wanted out.

He's pushing 20", which means he's picked up about 4" since I bought him a year ago. He's probably tripled in weight though. His tail is nice and thick, his limbs are stout, and he's got a nice full body now, whereas he was a pretty skinny little guy when I got him before.

Here are some pics. Its amazing how much color and pattern they have once you clean all the dirt and dust off of them...

He's getting some nice horns.

Did you ever and up getting that savanna?

Thanks! I did not end up getting the savanna. I almost did, but with getting ready to move, we didn't want to add another pet that would need daily attention while we're moving, and again when we're out of town for the wedding. Its going to be hard enough with 2 dogs, 2 cats, the iguana, a snake, and 4 aquariums to move...

I still don't know who I'm going to have watch over my pets while we're gone...

He is gorgeous! keep up the good work with him!

He's looking great!

.....I'd happily watch over him while you're gone.. Yes, of course you'll get him back... ;)

Thanks! We're very happy with him, and can't wait to give him a larger enclosure once we move, and a room of his own to explore as well. I will also be building him a nice outdoor enclosure once we get settled into the new house later this summer.
