New Pics of Bass

Here are some new pictures of my bass. I have had him for like two-three weeks now and I can already see that he has grown alot. My bowfin is still really hard to take pictures of. They eat a whole block of bloodworms by themselves.

Yea I think it is a largemouth and I got the bowfin from a pet supplies plus. Haha not a very good place to get fish around here but it is the only place that I have ever seen one for sale.

That's no largemouth. That's a smallmouth bass or it could be a spotted bass.

Small mouth, spotted.... Uh oh I think my lil guy may have an identity chrisis. Please Explain why he is not a largemouth (I do not doubt you as I know nothing about bass). I would love for him to be a small mouth though. I could keep him in a tank then. Thanks.

he's (in my opinion of course) a spotted bass. pretty much the same as a largemouth except for the black spots and he will not get as big as a largemouth, largemouth bass are just plain green but its a lighter shade of green, and smallmouth are usually more brown and have a shorter face. I caught mine on a tiny trout worm when he was 1.5" and when I released him he was about 6" I keept him with a peacock bass that died on me a while back.
I've always wanted a bowfin but cant seem to find where I can get one, but your fish look great congrats.

that lm bass is pretty lol...how big is it....they grow so quickly its ridiculous
