Hey all,
because I concluded the heavy breathing endlicheri gotten a whole lot better and was probably breathing a little harder by nature, I got them into the big tank yesterday. Here are some pics of the feeding from today with the new bichir in.
Obviously the dat wasn't all that happy with the invasion and blacked out. But I got to hand feed him, so that's nice.
Here you can see the immense colour difference between the new bichir coming out of a tank with a sand bottom and the female endlicheri.
Here are two new bichir eating. The endlicheri in this pic is what I believe to be a male.
Here is that endlicheri trying to eat a big piece of shrimp.
Here is one of the new laps.
This one is the smallerst of my bichir with 8 inch and a finger thick, he's eating well so hopefully he will grow fast.
Here's one of the gars storing some shrimp to eat later.
