Amazing how fast and good they heal. My male basically ripped all his scales off forcing his way thru a divider a long time ago, I thought there was a good chance of secondary infections and what not. He turned out just fine a couple weeks later. Great looking Dovii, looks like a beast.

Thank god! The gash on his face was pretty bad. So bad that I hid it from everyone else.

Thanks for the kind words. I got him from Gage (cichlidconnection.com) almost 2 years ago... Mike Mann has one just like it, but is a lot bigger than mine.
