Just by the way he is built, I say male. He is really nice. Is it really a red devil or is it a midas?

Really nice , very closs on the same colours of my first one i had . But mine was flipped sort of , with the orange on the bottom half and the white on top .
Just to give you a look of mine , But unlike you i could put anything in with mine . Would attack anything with went in with him and even try too get anyone who walk passed the tank when got to about 8inch , luckly i could put him in with a few fish when i got him first off , but only for a couple of months .

I remember you posting abouyt this guy earlier this year, he has really come a long way. Most likely a Mix of RD/Midas since most petshops don't have pure unless you can trace back from a reputable source. However, the Midas genes are definently dominent and you have one hell of a "Male" creamsickle on your hands. Try putting a mirror on the side for acouple hours every now and then and he might get a nice him. His colors are very nice and a good profile.
