Nice clean looking red you got there. Try leaving the top lights on 24/7 and see the colour get more intense over the time.

If I leave the lights on too long his eyes get cloudy. (Too intense.) They are on for 13hrs/day. I am already content with this fish. I just have to get him to eat something. I made the mistake of trying to pump him up with super worms. Now he won't eat.
