Funny you should ask. I have had silvers for years and never had any aggression problems. I have always had two together. Last week my small silver chased and killed my 8 inch midas.

Your a lucky guy dude.. i heard alot of stories about aros not getting along when there in twos.. sucks he killed your midas.. well better that then one of your cichla right..
