the usual ID that is! Working on pics but just have a cam phone to work with. I don't want to startle the little guys too much so I gave up on getting a good pic this morning. Sold to me as a "White Pike". C. lepidota and C. Lucius were written on on the tag as well.
Pale in color with a dark lateral line. The humeral spot is on the line and I couldn't tell it had a spot at all until I looked closely. Belly is white. Fins are red tipped. Ringed eyespot at base of tail. Yellow-ringed black oval in the middle of the dorsal fin. The area above the lateral line is alternating bands of tan and brown. I can't see any spangling so far.
Already my one of the favs when it isn't hiding. It is obviously very intellegent. I'll get a pic up as soon as possible.
