so my brother had 2 xingu 1 juvies in his tank growing out and a saxtilis type pike that looked like a mix between a proteus and a sveni (well call it green pike) and 2 p bass and some big yo yo loachs all of the fish juvies, the loachs are the oldest... anyway back onto the story his 3 pikes started working as a team and were maliciously attacking the pbass so we put a divider in his tank a few days ago. they have been in the tank for 2 months and the combo has worked before for him in a smaller tank with juvies. but we divided it and one of the pbass musta jumped over the divider and got in on the other side and got tore up pretty badly so i caught it and put it on the other side and: i was originally the one that was gunna buy the fish because at the time my pike woulda ate it like a worm so he bought it instead: and grew it up from a 1" inch baby to a 3 inch" baby. it outgrew the other fish by about an inch. so he said to me and i couldnt believe it " here take him home with you and put him in with ur oscar and ur 2 jag's if he gets beat up than he deserves it at least until my pbass and orange pikes get caught up to him" i couldnt believe it i was like ok because he is the same size as my jags just jags got more meat and the oscar is a woping 4". so i brought him home tonight and aclomated it and my jags reacted fine to it because my old sveni was 1" larger than all the fish including the oscar after 3" of length on my sveni at the time. the jags swam up to it and didnt do anything to it just looked at him like he was revived from the dead, he was the alpha of the tank, but this new one you will see when i get batteries tommorow after work. absolutly beautiful fish.
