y0yoy0yo jus g0t a new pike sorry no pic cuz my stupid camera wont work righ now,,, but hes about 2.5 inches and he has like 10 dark blac blotches along his sides,,, and has a blac line on each side of his face,,, also to note... he is a str8 SAV when i first dropped him into the tank the convicts and trimac were investigating him and he was flaring at all sides cuz they were surrounding him then everyone scattered,, after that my cons tried to attac him but he held his ground and flared up and opened his mouth huge and scared the cons off, then my trimac tried to show his dominance to him and got owned......... also the pike kinda swims around on his belly dont know if its a bellycrawler speices but hes quite aggressive, not really shy at all, and has a huge mouth... for a second i was kinda thinkin it was a cobra pike but i dont actually know what a juvenile cobra looks like ill try to get some pictures up but gotta find some batterys for my cam

yeh thats what it is i finally found it looking up on google same exact picture i found lolz but yeh its a belly crawler so they only grow 6'' ? well how u think they can with 1 or 2 large cichlids or a couple of convicts??? he seems like he can hold his own he chills in a little cave/plastic/driftwood thingy i got from walmart and my raphael catfish sleeps in there during the day and sometimes the pike just goes and rests his head on top of the raphael lolz he looks really relaxed too cuz his bac is all arched and hes still looking towards the front of the cave to be ready for someone trying to get in his territory.. i think hes an hell of a fish but i paid $20 for him and was kinda looking for somthing that could get a little larger to go in a 125gal with 1 or 2 large cichlids....
Well,Peanut Power told me he had a BC that grew to 10.5" before it passed away.So yeah,keep it with apropriate sized cichlids.I had one that did the same thing to a RD when i put him in my 90,he flared his gills and his head got huge!!Funny!!!!
Mines about 5" right now and its eating frozen shimp.. but i gotta hand feed it though, all the other tankmates get to the food first.
