New Pike

Hey monsterfishkeepers, i got a new pike and i need to know how big of a tank i need for a Northern Pike? thanx

Personally I would want a tank that has a 72"(L) X 48" (W) X 24" (T) footprint minimum for an adult fish. This would be about 360 gallons.

And IMHO that would be BARE minimum...

Yeah, pike really don't make decent aquarium fish. A chain pickerel would have been better, even better the that a grass or redfin. I don't even know if a 360g would be enough. I'm sure you have seen pictures of how large these guys can grow.

Yea I know there are pikes here but first off they are illegal to catch and keep that small(assuming they are smaller) and they are very difficult to even find at a small size.
