Ok, so today I was tearing down my old 25 that was in the spot where my new 55 is gonna be when I pick it up 2morrow when the thought dawned on me that If I put the fish that I have already (that are in a 32 gal grow out and are destined to go into the 55) into a 50 gal mbuna tank upstairs behind a divider until I set up the 55 on sunday (gone for 1st shotgun deer)....and when i pick up the tank could I pick up my EBJD that I ordered from my lfs and put it in the 32 grow out where the other fish used to be, and keep the other fish in the 50 gal until the 55 is ready sometime next week. are there any problems with this plan? Any suggestions are welcome, respond soon as I am leaving for the LFS tomorrow and need to decide whether or not to do a massive WC on the 32....

How big are the Mbuna you have? if they are still small I see no problem with dividing them. I assume you have a convict from the picture?
I have a 5" female in with my Mbuna and they all get on great. saying that I don't urge you to remove the divider but I think it will work.

It's only short term so there shouldnt be many effects on the fish

They're adults 5''-6'' so the divider would be needed, I think since the EBJDs are so frail when they are young that I will just drive down to the LFS next week when he can go straight into the 32 without any of the stress on the other fish by moving them, I wanna make sure the 32 is cycled pretty well also, (even though the filter is already cycled).
