This tank has been set up for about 2 months. Substrate: Flourite dark. Lights: LED 6700K. Plants: Ludwigia repens, rotala rotundifolia, cryptocoryne pontederiifolia, cryptocoryne wendtii (red), staurogyne repens, Occupants: rainbow wag platies, head and tail light tetras, cardinal tetras, otocynclus, neocaridina shrimp, tiger nerites. So far, so good. I expected the crpts to melt by now, but they haven't done so. This tank is WELL filtered: one Aquatop pf40uv, one Aqueon 75 hob, both with additional bio-media, and a Penn plax Cascade 1000 canister filter. Lights are adequate for now, but plan to upgrade.
