ive got two cheap plastic storage tubs from walmart that have never been used before and today im going to be moving a few fish around between tanks. im planning to keep some of the fish in these tubs until everything is ready with an airstone in the water of course. will these tubs be safe for them to be in for a couple hours or so? do these tubs have any chemicals that will leak out? anything at all to harm the fish

Should be fine, I have used a 55g tub in my garage to house goldfish in all winter, no issues with them at all

I have used these tubs many times with out an issue. I would just make sure to wash it out really good before hand.

They work fine. Just make sure to wash with a light detergent and rinse heavily with warm or hot water.

I used them before and actually I used those tubs last week when somone gave me a very large fish.

Did not have any problems.

alright well the fish are currently in the tubs with airstones. can anyone help me in my other thread named ''needing stocking help asap"?. i dont really want to keep the fish in these tubs long
