New Pleco

I bought a "silk pleco" today at the pet shop but i cant find any pics or info on it on the internet... does anyone have and pics or info on my lil pleco?

Never heard of it, some common names are made up by the LFS. Can you at least describe him?

U must be referring to Starlight/ or white seam pleco... L183

I've personally never heard it call by that name... but from Google.. it was cross reference as L183s.. They are nice fish..

I was looken around on the internet the best representation i could find was a spotted medusa bristlenose... it looks very close to the starlight except it has a bristle nose i will get pics within a couple days when i can get ahold of a camera

The L183 is also a Bristlenose pleco. The difference is the L255 (spotted medusa pleco) does not have the white seam like the L183

I bet it is a L138 then because it does have a white tipped tail
