Probably don't have to worry for another 2 weeks. All my pleuro's jumped at food in the first couple of days. He's most likely still getting used to the new tank, but they're not typically shy. Usually they jump in when they see the rest of the pack eating. Good luck.

This.

There is not much you can do. Some fish suicide themselves starving.

But by your description i feel it is mal adjustment to its new environment, still. And the more agressively the other guys feed, the worse it is, because he gets scared.

You either wait it out, and what will be will be, or separate him untill he starts feeding and regaining strenght.

I think i am going to separate them and see if i can get him to eat that way
Just got to find something to put him in :-)

Thanks for the advise

dont separate them, pleurophthalmas are schooling fish and they're really timid on their own. Also, they learn from eachother, so having other pleuros will help yours learn how and what to eat in the tank.

Just starve him for a week or two and if he doesn't eat then separate him and give him feeders (or something you know he will eat). You have to force them to eat, eventually he will be hungry enough to eat on his own.

I have a school of 6 that range from 14-17" and they've given me trouble in the past with eating. Some of them can be really picky, but you really need to persevere through them starving.

I know they do better in groups but he has been solo all his life before i got him. And it has been three weeks now so i am getting a bit neves.

As said, just separete to see if it eats solo. If it does, let it beef up and put it back in with the shoal.

Imho.
