hello all,

my 125 gallon journey came to a screeching halt when my 75 gal sprung a leak from my overflow hose. i took that opportunity too build a new stand to my liking as well as change some of the plumbing issues i had come to have. here are some of the pics of the final product.

ohh and 2 questions.

1) micro bubbles from an fx5? what causes this and how can i fix it?

2) i did a pvc overflow, no box, and it works great. it seems to purge (?) every couple of minutes my sucking in air... i already have a 1/4" hole in the top, could i expand that to 3/8" to allow more air to flow (take in and let out) ?

thanks....

Microbubbles from the FX5 are usually caused by using the fine filter pads as they clog up quickly.

Very nice job on the stand & rescape of the 75G.

can anyone confirm or deny my above stated hypothesis? can bet on what is causing the microbubbles.
