I was reading this magazine and discovered this stuff that I think would be perfect for a DIY plywood tank. Something for the pros to find out if it could be the next best thing. Let me know what you think, would this work and be better than commercial grade plywood or residental plywood. Here is the link!

Nice find! I wonder what the stuff costs. I think the ultimate plywood substitute would be recycled polypropelene sheets that can be air welded together. New 4x8x3/4 sheets are around $300 each. At that price I'd stick to plywood or acrylic.

The article I read had mentioned
- Highly water resistant
- 50 year limited waranty
- Structural 1 rating means it resists snow, wind, and seismic loads
- Constant strength and stiffness
- Manufactured to full 1/2" and 5/8 thickness

It sounds like it would be perfect for a plywood tank or even a tank thats set into a wall, given the longevity and durability of this product.

Any comments?
