So quick back story! Had these guys in a 55 but had one of them eat one of my baby kelberi so something had to change. Conveniently petco had there dollar per gallon sale going so this is what I got setup after working a 15 hour shift :/ will work on it more today but they seem happyImageUploadedByMonsterAquariaNetwork1365588639.633147.jpgImageUploadedByMonsterAquariaNetwork1365588614.897908.jpgImageUploadedByMonsterAquariaNetwork1365588614.897908.jpgImageUploadedByMonsterAquariaNetwork1365588639.633147.jpgImageUploadedByMonsterAquariaNetwork1365588666.748857.jpg

Nice pair of bichirs dude, I really like the gold on beuttikoferis.

You know I a lot of peoples ive seen on here are like that , my two are so freaking green and dark you'd think they were retros

haha that's true but you are keeping yours on black gravel, and you have a lot of low-light plans which makes the tank kinda dark too. I really like your setup but I can see why your retros oops I mean beauttikoferi would be darker.

Beauttikoferi are one of the few bichirs I like on bright almost white substrates, because it shows off how yellow/gold they are, unless they have a lot of green, then they would look better on dark substrates, not all of them have that green color.

Thanks guys! Unfortunately I'm yet to do anything more with the tank other than add a 4 line pim for clean up crew.. Been rinsing more black diamond sand so hopefully that'll get in there sometime this week
