Hello,
I bought this new replacement fish for my beloved aba aba that passed away. I bought 3 new kinds. Its a 5 inch Senegal, 6 inch Albino and 4 inch ornatipinnis. They were cool and awesome. They never hided from me and very active day and night. Today, I placed in the aquarium where my aba aba died due to sickness. You know what happend, it shedded its skin because of the bacteria. I got scared and called the aquarist. then, I placed salt on it and replaced the water. Thank God everything is ok. Please post some tips of taking care of these cool dinosaurs. Thanks and I appreciate it.:)

The tank is just temporary. Around 40 gallons and they are the only fishes.

Sand substrate is preferred for Polys. The ones you got are pretty active and aren't shy so you got some goodies:) The Ornate grow larger than the Sens and are usually known to be the most aggressive Poly. So be on the look out for nipping. The Albino Sen will max out around 6"-8" The normal Sen will be around 10"-12" and Ornate can be 16"-20"

Only the Ornate won't fit the 40g for life. The other 2 can

My tank has no gravel or sand. My father gave me his 75 gallon tank because he spent a lot for the arapaima then it died so he got furious. It didnt even lasted 2 weeks. Are there any ways to feed the albino because it keeps swimming and doesnt want to eat while the 2 always bumps to each other. Too concentrated in eating.

Tell your father I know why the arapaima die.
He needs to add another zero to the tank size.
