New polys!

About a week ago I got new polys from wetspot that I plan on adding to my 125. Everything shipped well and everyone looks good. I was amazed the water they came in was 76 degrees cause we were having cold weather all last week. Currently they are in a 40g quarantine tank. Their first 2 feedings were tilapia and last night I threw in nls thera a pellets to see if they would take pellets and they did. I ordered a mokelembembe, palmas Palmas, palmas polli, palmas buettikoferi, and retropinnis. I was wondering if you can help me ID some of them. Also do you guys do anything special during the quantity process? I only added some pimafix and melafix as a preventative.

Not sure on these last 3, I think the first one is a buettikoferi and other 2 look like palmas polli. Never seen a retropinnis.

Yeah it goes buettikoferi, (I think, because it looks like it's eatin the headshape is a bit off) Polli, and retro.

Wetspot is a good place to get polys. Their stock has nice markings. I got a Palmas and Buetti from them recently. Seeing your new Moke makes me want to get one as well How big was the Buetti you got if you don't mind me asking? I'm looking to order another one and 2 Polli. Torn between getting it from Wetspot or Toyin.

Pimafix and melafix really arent meds. I always treat for parasites with parasite gaurd and do the full 4 day treatment, get them to eat and that it.

The buettikoferi was the smallest of them all around 3.5 inches. I really like the way the Moke looks, kind of has a little orange color to his eyes too. So far he seems to be the shyest in the group, but it's still early. This was my first time ordering, and was very happy with the whole process. I decided to go with wetspot over toyin because I keep reading in other threads that toyin is hard to get a hold of and wetspot also had all the polys I wanted to order.

Awesome, thanks for the info. I'll have to pick some up this week and treat them with it. I'm so happy that they are already eating pellets.
