I grabbed this guy a few days ago, other than a goldline that I had for a couple days (eaten) and a few CKs, this is my first knife

Nice! These guys have the coolest faces. How big is this guy?

Although knife fish are not my cup of tea, this species is something of an exception. Their pattern is very intricate on some specimens.

It's about two feet long,hard to get an exact number since never stops moving. I had to relocate it to temporary quarters since it began to really stress out my big dats in my 265.They tend to enjoy picking fights with other fish.

Ya the pattern is pretty sweet, I’m noticing how intelligent these guys are. They seem to be studying the world outside the tank, and I swear it makes noises sometimes

Pretty cool for a knife fish. Most are said to be very shy, but your description makes me think you could have a wet pet on your hands as time goes on.
