new pond for moster fish

So my fish got 2 big for the fish tank and ive decided to get them something bigger
already got a koi pond and i know some of my fish need a heated pond
so this is the start of my project
started with some thermal insulationon the bottom
after the water will be filled i will wrap the rest of the mini pond
and a
Catalina 1000 Watt Titanium Aquarium Heater will be added to warm the pond
winter is not that cold, somewhere around 20°C and can drop on very cold days to 15 where i live

How many gallons is the pond? You might have to cover it on colder days/nights depending on what kind of fish you are keeping.

Don't think temps are an issue there. Well too much of an issue.
