Hi, i have a newly built pond (430 gallons, 350x110x43) and am always wanting to get into the hobby of keeping predator fishes. This is also because when i previously had a pond with goldfishes, frogs kept on spawning eggs inside and killing everything and i also think predator fishes look cool. I was thinking of maybe getting snakehead fishes(channa) but found out that they are to aggresive to be placed in a community predator fish tank. I need some suggestions for predator fishes that are hardy (because im new to this) and are aggresive but not to much so that i could perhaps keep a few other predator fishes.

Thanks!

Where do you live?

snakeheads are illegal to keep in (most of) the US.
This is outside I presume? You could do piranhas, or a mix of predators like a GATF, Armatus, arowana, etc. that would be sweet.

Oh yes, i live in indonesia. Ive heard that all the fishes mentioned except for the piranhas are exceptionally hard to keep. Im a total newbie in keeping predator fishes.

Ive researched piranhas and i think they suite me well, any suggestions for tank mates?

I decided to go with polypterus senegalus, peacock bass, a pleco fish, and oscars. I was thinking of maybe putting in some schooling fish that wont eat or get eaten by other fish, any suggestions?
