so earlier today i was looking in my tank and my spotted rapheal catfish died. i was about to flush him down the toilet but then i had an idea! my idea was to keep his skull! so what i did was i put him into a bucket, boiled some hot water and pour in the hot water into the bucket with my spotted rapheal catfish in it. i let it sit for about 10 minutes then started picking it with a plastic tong and some shish cabob sticks. got the guts and its flesh off. so what i am left with now is the skull because the tail bone fell off. after cleaned it i boiled some more water so i can get some of the tough skin off of him. so i repeated what i did again with the boiled water and some more skin came off. right now im letting it sit and dry by a ant hole so the ants would eat the last bits off the skull. i remember seeing a thread where a guy did it with his bichir i think. if anyone can find me that thread it will be greatly appreciated. but anyways...any suggestions to what i should do? will i have to glue some parts back or will it just stick there and not fall off?
