hes doin good, the tanks high brakish and hes doin great he's swollen right now, he ate an earthworm 2x his size, but ya hes doin fine

oh yea, he was 5 bux

this would have been better in the salt water brackish section. but i have heard of them living in brackish for life.

good to hear, i may keep him for awhile, till i find the perfect fw puffer for me, he just ate a crayfish, and i fell in love with him

Yes I had one that lived in my salt tank for a few years before he was eaten by a gold line grouper. These puffers seem to be much happier in full salt than they are in brackish.
Mine usually died within a few months in brackish :irked:

I hope he does well for you anyway:)

But if he doesn't try a fahaka they are fresh to slightly brackish and are cool as well

Fahakas are totally fresh, no salt needed!

I've kept my 2 Green Spots for 4 years now in freshwater-no problems and still going strong. Yes I've read they require salt but I've never bothered yet they are thriving in a tank with soem polypterus, tigerfish & leopard ctenopoma.

really?? thats crazy, u sure there gsp
