Got a group order in this morning from Jeff. As always everything was packed perfectly and all fish arrived alive and well. The fish that were mine have all already eaten and are settling in nicely.

Here's what I got.

Vieja heterospilus: This pair was supposed to go to a friend but the tank he setup for them had sprung a leak when he got up this morning. So, I've got them in my 220g for now. If he doesn't get it fixed soon I might just keep them. They are very nice looking fish.

awesome collection ya got!!!!

cool how long have you had youre ebjd and how big was he when you got it (sorry its my fav right now)

hmmm.... seems strangly conveniant that your friends tank sprung a leak the very morning he was supposed to get the fish, lol jk :grinno:

My EBJD is about 4.5-5 inches. I've had it for about 9 months and it was less then an inch when I got it.

My buddy had the 75g tank setting in his garage emty for over a year. He pulled it out yesterday filled it up. He was going to use a cycled XP3 and seed the tank will some gravel from an established tank. Just bad luck. He better fix it quickly. His fish are fitting in nicely!!!!

thats so cool ive had had my hetro for about a month or so it is about 5 inchs i got it from rapps also it is probally from the same spawn. i havent introduced my ebjd to it yet cause its only 2inchs right now

Yeah, probably the same batch. The 2 we got are right at 5 inches. So far I've had zero issues with the EBJD. They are extremely slow growers though. So don't expect it to grow very quickly.

Nice set-up! The pix are great too! You should tell you're friend that you ended up drownding his fish and you're sorry! They are sweet.!.!.!
