hey, so i just brought her home 2 days ago and she is in a 55 quarantine tank and is maybe 3 inches across at the moment ( it was the home to my baby ghost knife while he grew out and grew strong enough to live in his 120.) so im thinking she can go in my 130 ( biggest i have right now) not sure what kind he is but ive been looking and although ive seen several different patterns shes closest to Potamotrygon cf. reticulatus. ( or i think.) im thinking of going to my lfs ( which is closeing) and buying there huge coral display tanks) ( because there huge and flat and i could maybe keep a few rays in it) whats the best ideal tank i can get for him with out selling my organs? he exsits me greatly and i would love to keep him so with some help and effort im sure it could happen.

If your 130 is 18" wide then he or she will be fine for a few years depending on how often you do water changes. Especially since he is only 3 inches.

Retic's are really cool rays! Does he eat? Keep the temp on the high side and the lights dim and the water clean by doing water changes. Is it bare bottom?

They like to eat live blackworms, frozen bloodworms, guppies, ghost shrimps = they will take more foods once acclimated.

for a tank, any thing 18" wide will be fine for some time, after that upgrade to 30" for life. Retics do not have a very large adult size.

yes he eats he eats like a pig he loves anythign that wiggles on the bottom top of the list being live blood worm ( there sold as tubefex worms i dont know what they are realy but all my fish love to eat them) followed by live shrimp. today he supprize me by jumping on a small minnow i had floating around it went down to sleep and it pounced on it i loved it. its weird though its either the most active thing ever or its jsut sitting in the back like its dead... i guess thats what it is to be young ehh?
