Just got a new ray home and housed it in my main tank. The moment it landed she was already assaulted by my motoro male. Anywho, had to leave the house and found her puffing when I came back with bite marks all over. Had to move the male in a temp holding tank.

She's around 9" and is supposed to be motoro x bd or leo. Not sure which.

looks hybrid to me. a motoro hybrid
spots are still yellowish. it doesn't have the Leo flag tail shape. plus a Leo wouldn't have that amount of disc Edge spotting.

Ya one pic made it look like a slight flag tail but looking more I agree does not look like it too much. The dots around edge yes allot of a Leo but some high grade black diamond Leos have allot of spots. Who knows how many rays are really hybrids and we don't even really know or what we call the best Leo might be a mutt long ago anyways. Makes me want to do a Leo motoro then breed that back to a leo.
