New RCK

I got my new RCK!! I love his patterns hes an awesome fish.

I got him for $30 at about 7-8" which i thought was reasonable.

Just a few questions do they grow the same as normal cks or is there a difference? Also im trying to stay away from feeders because its a pain in the *** to get feeders all the time. I have some shrimp pellets that i feed my channel catfish, that he eats, could that work? or what about bloodworks, what i feed some of younger fish i have would this work? if not what would you advice for him.

And i will get some pics in a few days when he is settled in.

Any help would be much appreciated

They seem to grow slower to me. I had one awhile back and never noticed the growth rate on it since I already got it at a good size. The one I have now, I've had since July at 4.5" and now it's 6"

I have had mine a few weeks and he does seem slower growing compared to the normal clown knife, mine will eat prawn, whitebait, sinking pellets and bloodworm.

Chitala species are relatively easy to get off live food, IMO. Just have some "teacher" fish in there so it can recognize what it should be eating. I have yet to meet a Knife that doesn't like Frozen Bloodworms.
