Took the osar into the LFS today, and saw they still had the beautiful red devil, which is in a 29 gallon, he has been there around a month, so i picked him up. $25. About 9 inches. I will post pics later on or tommorrow morning.

I would like to find him a lil mate. How big do red devils have to be before they can breed? and can they breed with anything else?
at 9" will be able to breed...just get it another RD to breed, don't cross more than they already are
they sure can breed with other fish and at that size they are more than ready to breed.

give it a go....if i looks like a female, they get pretty mean during and after breeding so you may have to separate if and after they pair up, well depending on your tank size that is
i mite go into petsmart and pickup a couple of the 4 inchers, and put them in the 20 and post pictures to see if any are female
