Just picked this guy up on my daughters request and I was curious if he is in fact a red terror. Mind you I have no idea what specifically makes a red terror, I always assumed it was a green texas/red devil. This guys definitely got a Flowerhorn look despite the spangling all over and looking like he's starting to change color to red. These pictures suck, I'll update with better ones later. In the meantime,

Thats my bad, Red Texas is what I meant. I agree it looks like a Texas/Flowerhorn mix. Is that an acceptable combo to make a Red Texas? I wasn't sure what kind of mix went into them. I'm cool with it either way, the fish looks awesome in person, it's kind of got a double flowerline down its back, which really looks nice. I'm kind of worried it will change color and lose some of the contrast it has now.

The shape and red rim to the dorsal says jack dempsey to me. I'm sure I've seen a similar fish that was part JD and maybe texas or salvini.

Some cross a fader flowerhorn with a Texas to try and make a red Texas. I had a female red Texas that had the shape of a Texas and a flower line and was fading into a nice fish but was later killed by my male.
