I have been spreading the word that i was wanting a few more H TAT's for my tank after i made a mistake and only picked up one last January instead of all 3 that they had at the lfs. So this morning i got word that a local shop had a few and that they wanted 39 bucks apiece for them. So after getting off of work at 2am saturday morning i stayed up and went to the lfs first thing saturday morning. And sure enough they had these 2 reds at about 7-8''. I asked the guy if I could get a break on buying them both. And sure enough he said i can do 30 apeice. I almost ripped the pocket off my pants trying to hand him the money. lol-- So here they are in all there glory in the quarantine tank.
They are a little beat up but i am sure they will come around. I drip acclimated them for an hour and then released them in the Q tank and added some salt. I then waited 6-8 hours before i turned on the lights and fed them a few feeder minnows. I came back to the tank a few hours later and all 4 feeders are gone. So everything is looking great.
