only keeping one. help me decide please. both around 7-8" lighter one is bigger but has a forked tail that the guy said hasnt healed in months so its safe to assume it wont. the darker one is a bit smaller and also has some fin damage to his anal fin and top fin. the lighter one has more of a violet sheen as to where the darker is just more of a gold. you be the judge.

as far as male and female. i believe them to both be male. you see the pics, you tell me what you think.
 
They're both males. That tail fin is split pretty deep. So is that missing chunk of dorsal fin. Chances are neither will heal all the way due to being so deep. I'd keep both just to make sure the rest of their life is easier than what's happened to them already.
