I heard from venom stinger that a somewhat local lfs had rays for $39.99. I went there today to check it out. Sure enough they had 8. I found my favorite two, both were males and I need a female. So I found one that looked pretty good and bought it. It's small, but has a nice pattern, and is cheap! Refreshingly, it was not showing hip bones, damage to tail etc. first day in the tank. Hasn't eaten yet, but I'm not worried. I've got black worms and ghost shrimp on hand.
