My newish retic jumped straight to frozen bloodworms but I added some new fish and they won't let any to the bottom wat can I feed him that will go to the bottom that he will eat and the cichlids won't? Or how to feed him with bloodworms they take to long to sink?

You shouldn't feed it only bloodworms anyway. Try getting it onto shrimp and earthworms. I'm not a ray expert but it seems a lot of people feed them that.

If you're concerned about other fish stealing its food, however, you can always target feed. Buy a long clear (non-flexible) plastic tube and drop the food down that. That way you can make sure it drops right in front of the ray and no fish can grab it on the way down.

Yea chop them up, myne loves live red wiggler along with the blood worms so u can distract cichlids with the blood worms and the worm bits to your ray. How big is ur little guy

are you thawing the bloodworms up first?

I find that if you thaw them out in a cup full of water, once thawed if you pour it with enough water in there it pushes it all to the bottom fairly fast.

I had that same problem and what works for me is to throw in some floating pellets 1st and once the other fish have there mouths full and focused on the pellets ill drop in the worms on the opposite side
and that helps give them some sinking time
