So these are the new kelberi. The 2 larger ones are the doce and the small guy is the tocantins. They have only been here a little over 24hrs but they looked hungry tonight so I gave them the opportunity to eat. The one rio doce ate all of the feeders I offered then the smaller size ones took some blood worms after watching my small geos grab em off the bottom. Teacher geos have worked for me in the past for getting tiny cichla to take the bloodworm/massivore mixture and it appears they are teaching the new comers 20170111_201237.jpg 20170111_201229.jpg 20170111_162231.jpg

Thank you! The smaller ones already taking blood worms with the geos made me dance around in excitement to be honest. The larger doce attacks feeders with speed, agility, and precision that I've only seen out of tiger fish. These guys are going to be fun

I'm excited. These guys will be featured in my main display tank whenever I find one that is the perfect size for entry way. Not too many really large tanks for sale in northern minnesota/wisconsin but already put the funds away and have enough square tubing set aside to weld up a stand that could support a bus. Just waiting to pull the trigger

I sure hope so! Lol. But yes, if you look at the kelberi pic thread you can see all types of amazing kelberi and see the differences. It really is an awesome thread
