New rock

I was working tody and went past this place thats sells rock I got this one rock for 20 bucks what do u guys think of it.

Yea its pretty big rock prob weight at least 50 pounds its going to go in my new 150 tank for my florida gars, i dont remember the name of it though.

Well you could test it out by putting a 75 pound rock in there first and see if that breaks it... If it doesn't then the 50 pound rock won't

that's a nice rock. i'd worry about it breaking the bottom. but i'm paranoid anyways.

Use something to cushion the rock on the bottom of the tank like eggcrate or even styrofoam. The weight and any sharp points of the rock sitting on glass is disaster! I also wouldn't trust it on any new tank under 75 gallons. They just don't make tanks heavy and thick like they use to! LOL!
